The CD 'A Musical Message' along with its companion text 'Messages to Awaken Yourself' are heralded by many as a 'Double Dose of Inspiration and Motivation'. Together and separately they add another slice of beauty and adventure toward awakening to experience more of your goodness, strengths and divine attributes.

Dolores ( DeeJazz) and I have been on a path toward awakening to the joys and values of full living and expanded consciousness for most of our lives together.

We traveled together up and down Michigan highways where I have given speeches in various places and for six years hosted a support group in the Ken Keys ( Science of Happiness ) Methods.

We've done The Forum, ISA, Avatar, Unity, Re-evaluation Counseling and various spiritual and meditation exercises. Self help books and disciplines are no stranger to us. We've done conventional religion and unconventional spiritual venues. We've 'Ohm-ed', chanted, visualized and prayed. We won't even talk about the sixties when Dolores was just a baby but I wasn't. I had some great times.

Through it all we've learned to love ourselves more fully; release the reigns of some addictive behaviors; delight in people and realize that it is we ourselves who create our experience of life and to celebrate more and more each 'now' moment.

The Early Years

The 50's in America was a time of 'Mom and apple pie'. During this era lived a young girl ( Hattie Mae ) who had two brothers but no sister. She had longed to have a sister as a companion but that place of want was vacant.

Then in late January 1960 at the age of seventeen and a half years old, she was blessed with a little blue/grey eyed beauty of a sister.

Baby sister (Dolores) was two days old when she went into convulsions and for almost two more days her life held in the balance. Panicked, the Mother prayed frantically for healing and that God would spare the life of her newborn baby daughter. Her prayers were answered; she lived.

Thereafter, Mother diligently watched over her sleeping child for over five years before she could abandon the fear for her daughter's life.

The young girl was granted her dream of having a sister, at last. Even though her sister was too young to be a companion, still she cherished the times they spent together.

Eventually, baby sister grew until one day many years later they developed a relationship as peers. Those events began over forty-three years ago as of this writing in 2003.

Baby sister was given a gift of music and sound at an early age and she created melodies of a spiritual nature. Even now, there are times when she is awakened from her sleep to sing or record a melody into her answering machine. She is gifted and anointed by the Holy Spirit to show us a better way.
